Arusuvai Kitchen Reviews
Arusuvai Kitchen in Mississauga is a culinary gem! The food is authentic, delicious, and generously portioned. The service is friendly and attentive. I loved the variety of traditional dishes, and the flavors were spot on. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Highly recommend Arusuvai Kitchen for: - Authentic flavors - Generous portions
Authenticity knows no size. Tucked away in a cozy spot at a plaza is Arusuvai Kitchen. Bustling with the continued weekend crowd, it was evident that this place is happening and for good reason - the food! A variety of South Indian flavors, and while we would have taken the in-dining experience for a dosa and filter coffee, on this occasion we elected to do a chicken 65 biryani takeaway. While the chicken was soft and juicy, it was laced with a layer of light gravy for added flavor. I am not entirely sure if this is the Tamilnadu way, but in Hyderabad the chunks of chicken have a slightly more viscous layer - so a minor but notable moment. Overall, it was nice and I think there is plenty more to explore on our next visit!
Authentic South Indian Experience – A Must-Visit! This place serves some of the best, most authentic South Indian food I’ve ever had! Everything we tried was perfectly made, with flavors that truly capture the essence of South India. Their sambar and coconut chutney are outstanding, and OMG, don’t forget to try their Filter Coffee—rich, aromatic, and absolutely amazing! If you love South Indian food, you HAVE to visit this place! Highly recommended! Must try !
I recently tried this store and was really impressed with the food. Their Idli Chicken Curry combo and Kal Dosa Chicken Curry combo are absolutely delicious—definitely a must-try! The Cauliflower 65, Veg Thali, and Chicken Biriyani are also standout dishes that I highly recommend. On top of the great food, the staff were friendly and welcoming, making the entire experience even better. I'll definitely be coming back for more!
One of the best heartwarming Tamil veg meals I’ve had in a long time!! The nostalgic 90s Tamil songs and the cozy small place brought memories of home on a plate. Service was with a sweet smile. I made it for a quick weekday lunch. Worth the stop.
Arusuvai South Indian Restaurant is a hidden gem for authentic South Indian cuisine. Their dosas are perfectly crisp, the idlis are soft and fluffy, and the sambhar is rich and flavorful. The menu offers a great variety of traditional dishes, all served with generous portions and warm hospitality. The highlight for me was the egg kothu parotta. If you're craving a true taste of South India, this spot is definitely worth a visit!
Just perfectly DELICIOUS!! I got this Chennai Chicken 65 Briyani (Boneless) Honestly I was little sad after seeing the portion size { A bit less compared to other places and I got this on doordash and price is high extra 4 compared to restaurant price} BUT after tasting it... i felt 1000% worth it.The side gravy and raita portion were bigger and perfectly enough. It also had one hard boiled egg. Completely happy before sleep and I will definitely visit the place to try it again!!
We enjoyed a delightful office lunch at a relaxed pace, savoring every moment. The Parota with Gravy was an absolute treat—rich, flavorful, and satisfying! And their ‘elaneer payasam’? Simply phenomenal! A must-try for anyone looking to indulge in something special.
